Snow monkeys

My family in AUS was coming to here JPN and we went to "Jigokudani Yaen Ko-en" to see the snow monkeys. It's first time for me as well as them.
The monkeys were really taking a bath like human!! The sight was only one place but was very very interesting. It was worth coming up there with expensive and long distance (indeed, it took over 4 hours / one-way...).
Thanks my AUS family for giving me such nice opportunity.

At USC in the first day

The first day at USC.
Met awesome friend become lecturer and senior lecturer in biomechanics filed.
Then I visited USC pool where my experiment was on for checking if a few leavings of my stuffs were still nicely there.
The mood in here is the best for me. Love here.

Frank Wedding Party

We had a great time in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan.
I (and my wife) really thank all of you who came our wedding party and who couldn't come also.
We appreciate the way you are, and it would be very grateful if you all have a lovely relationship with us for a long long time.

Japanese traditional training in the sea

I'm teaching "long distance group swimming in the sea" there days for high school students. They swim 4km or 2hrs distance swim by constructing formation. This would be an important & wonderful experience for students in their life. There is something nice rather just swim a long distance.
I hope students would get one of their treasure for their life, and I also have an good experience through teaching them. It's very thanks for each other.
Then, it remains two days for this camp...

Wedding party

We had a wedding party for my senior whom I gratefully respect him, got very cute bride.

He brought me many things in my life especially in my swimming life at T-university, and I still venerate and appreciate him.

Many congratulations from me, we all hope your eternal happiness with your lover.

The top of JPN

This is from the top of JPN with one of my best friend from AUS. 3776m the altitude.
It was my first time to get there, and that was gorgeous view.
The climbing wasn't such a hard one, the climbing of Mt.cooroora helped us, nice training.

ISBS2012 MEL

Come here, AUS, again!! This time I've been in Melbourne for a conference ISBS 2012.
There were some swimming research and researchers but no-one didn't have any interest about aqua exercise & rehabilitation.
I had a poster presentation on Thursday entitled "A comparison of lower limb angular displacement pattern between land and water walking by using dynamic time warping", but many Japanese researchers come to mine. It's a shame a bit but that's OK, I'll have a paper ASAP, then  move on next investigation.

Rather than that, I had a nice experience in here MEL this time, and my supervisor in AUS introduced about me a bit in the last part of his presentation. That's very honor for me. Thanks my co-authors.
I'll be back to AUS in the end of October. Bye for now.

Something experiment

Something an experiment is on going, which I can't tell you what exactly it is though. This going to be a very useful and novel thing for every swimmer. Yes, every things of such stuffs will have a beneficial for all swimmers, and that is a research which we should do.

I'll keep going water related research cos I have nothing to do without the water.

I really have a grateful to the water. We shouldn't forget an appreciation for blessed our resources and our privilege to use it, anytime, anywhere.

My work space

I've got back my work space from him, and finally I've kicked him off to the next desk. He seems really envy with my desk and looks like somewhat depressing. hehehe.

Now, I'm getting back to Japanese life but miss all of Australia life. The sea, surfing, and friends and colleagues. Japan is getting warmer to humid and sweltering Japanese summer, I've already got tanned though. :)

I'm looking forward to see how he goes with this summer time.

The final day

These are the last days in my life in Australia. Every my fiends cheered me and gave me some gifts. I really appreciate that, and also at the same time, I felt I should have give them something as my gratitude.

Many thanks for having me in your house in this one year. My great life in Australia was started and finished with you. I don't forget this grateful till I forget. lol.

Thanks my colleagues and co-researchers and friends, you all are so wonderful and helped me very much. Hope all the best of you and will keep in touch to wel-doing each other for further process. Just one thing I feel pity in this picture is my face turned red...

Day 11 month + 16

This is the picture why I went to Hobart. That's it. Think, I am one of the treasure Japanese who has appreciated the show "twice" after the farewell tour in Japan. The show was awesome without doubt every time.

Another awesome scene in Hobart was that I catch the dolphins. Hobart was too chilly, the wind blew so strongly, the boat bumped so much, we had a bit of rain, nevertheless, so nice place in Australia.

Day 10 month + 29

Suddenly, I joined ocean swim challenge at Caloundra called "Kings of the coast".

I swam 3.8km ocean swim race, which the original course has been changed to alternative course at Kings beach due to a bad condition. Nevertheless, the sea was still swelling bigger.
Anyway, this was my first time to join ocean swim race. And surprisingly, I didn't train at all. But I found out this race on last Friday, so there was no choice. Obviously, I realised as soon as I jumped in the sea that I should have trained for this race and I was already a sedentary human. Fortunately, I could finish the race but I was completely tired.
It was an excellent opportunity to experience what the ocean swim is all about. It was far away from the ocean swim in the university or school teaching conducted in Japan. Whatever, I'm still ruing that if I could find the event much earlier. I'd train, and it'd be much exciting.

Day 10 month + 25

The nice day "Anzac Day" today.
There was nothing fun, but it was good opportunity to think about the way of commemorate our history, there are still many problems though.

By the way, yesterday was the best wave ever, and it was also exciting in the initial several times today.
The time will be closed up...

Day 10 month + 1

Australian Swimming Championship in Australia. There was something new for me. It was very interesting. I have to learn many things from this country, more and more.

In Japan, we have an Olympic Trial in this week. I seriously cheer up every athletes and specially my some friends.

I have 2 month remaining. And a lot of things to do that I want, but those are limited by time and occasion. How far can I reach?

Day 9 month + 4

Day 8 month + 20

My parents were coming from bloody cold Japan to sweltering the Sunshine Coast just 3 days, but they enjoyed staying here and relaxed (I hope so). They already moved to Melbourne this morning safely so far. No one knows what will be happend with their English skill but it gonna be exciting experience for them. Enjoy the rest of your trip in AUS.

I'm on a web site of USC. This is my current job. It's my honour to be picked up in such a formal website. Also, I 've got another media that was fantastic moment, but I'm still depressed with my language skill though.

It's been already passed 8 month and started count down to go back to JPN. I need more a couple of years to content with everything. But just know, I'm thinking about what I can do within the rest of my stay in AUS.
